Biomass Aggregation

When one of the largest utilities in the United States wanted to begin biomass co-firing for a portion of its coal-fired portfolio, it turned to the Enviva Materials team to define the appropriate product specification, manage test burns, and initiate commercial deliveries of 15,000 tons per month.

Pelletizing

In 2007, Intrinergy acquired a pellet mill in Straubing, Germany. Since then, the Enviva management team has doubled the plant’s wood pellet production capacity to over 120,000 tons a year of high-quality pellets, and added power generation capacity. These Enviva Pellets have been recognized as the highest quality wood pellets on the market, and are currently being sold throughout Europe, including Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, and Austria.
